Maria Tecla Artemisia Montessori nacque a Chiaravalle (AN) il 31 agosto 1870 e nella sua vita svolse attività di educatrice, pedagogista, medico, neuropsichiatra infantile, filosofa e scienziata italiana. In Italia, fu una tra le prime donne a laurearsi nella facoltà di medicina.
Divenne famosissima nel mondo grazie al famoso metodo educativo per bambini che prese il suo nome, ovvero il “Metodo Montessori”.
Maria Montessori ripone grande fiducia nei confronti dei bambini di tutte le età.
È convinta del fatto che, il bambino piccolo non sia una versione ridotta del bambino più grande ma piuttosto un essere speciale con esigenze diverse che cambiano e si trasformano con la crescita.
Il bambino di 0-3 anni ha un repertorio sensoriale e motorio che necessita dell’esercitazione costante e di un ambiente preparato con cura e attenzione dalle educatrici che gli permetta di incamminarsi sulla via dell’indipendenza.
Proprio per questo motivo il nido può rappresentare per il bambino un luogo importante e favorevole al suo pieno sviluppo.

La struttura, gli arredi e gli oggetti sono tutti a misura di bambini e sono pensati e disposti non per intrattenerli ma per essere essi stessi strumenti per il movimento autonomo e per attività finalizzate e costruttive.
Sono tante le attività “montessoriane” all’interno della nostra proposta educativa che propongono e conducono i nostri bambini per mano alla scoperta di ciò che li circonda, aiutandoli a sviluppare se stessi in autonomia; ciò permette ai bambini di maturare la fiducia nelle proprie capacità.
L’arredamento, i giochi e le attività sono a misura di bambino, tutto è selezionato con cura in base a ciò che è in grado di stimolarli ed incuriosirli e tutto è proposto con amore e con rispetto per la sua natura di piccolo essere umano.

She is convinced that, the small child is not a reduced version of the older child but rather a special being with different needs that change and transform with growth.
The child of 0-3 years has a sensory and motor repertoire that requires constant exercise and an environment prepared with care and attention by educators that allows him to set out on the path of independence.
For this reason, the nursery school can represent for the child an important and favourable place to his full development.

The structure, furnishing and objects are all suitable for children and are designed and arranged not to entertain them but to be themselves tools for autonomous movement and for targeted and constructive activities.
There are many “Montessorian” activities within our educational proposal that lead our children to the discovery of what surrounds them, helping them to develop themselves independently; This allows children to develop confidence in their abilities.
The furniture, games and activities are child-friendly; everything is carefully selected according to what is able to stimulate and make them curious and everything is proposed with love and respect for his nature as a little human being.
